I'm not too much of a fan for the front end "conversion" but the rear looks good.

As far as why people do this stuff, it is for the individuality aspect of it. It's also about expressing what you think looks good. Everyone has different goals for and with their cars.

Some are into the show aspect and want to "wild" out their car more than anyone else. Some want to get their car to go the fastest in a straight line while using a 4-banger (as oppose to a Mustang).

Why did you buy an S2000....unlike many of us S2K owners, these showers and go-ers actually use the car for the intended purposes they (not Honda) built them for.
