Remember, you can lose money with a 401K. I lost over 6000 from mine at one point, while my mom took a MUCH bigger hit.

ya...i remember putting in my 6% and having my company match it with 6% for a couple of years just to hold even....... so I only lost 2 years worth of contributions....

making $ now I guess... i try not to look too much.

im 20 and have a 401k with my part time job..they match 4 so i use it...i think i have about 300 in there now..you can tell i work alot of hours
