I'm giving up on Palm
after being a loyal customer for 12 years, the lack of customer support and the subpar products they put out finally pushed me into a droid.
the latest is the palm centro. their software is incompatible with 64-bit computer so when I switched computer, I am forced to buy a bluetooth adapter to back up my data. after searching the net for hours to find solutions/suggestions on how to set this up (palm website is quite useless), the thing is temperamental and works about 30% of the time.
I heard that the Palm Pre is nicer but I'm not going to find out.
good bye palm.

yup, wife has droid and she's very happy.
the palm centro I have is buggy and I can only use some of its feature. Verizon store is no help.
palm customer support is crappy.
I think that Palm should be bought and made a better company. There are still plenty of loyal customers out there but they're rapidly changing platform due to frustration.

I enjoyed my pre for the year or so I had it. I really wanted an android phone but listen to music about 10 hours of my day and its just too convenient to have an phone and ipod all in one. I hate the douche-bag factor of the iphone though.
Palm was bought.. by HP.. 3 months ago.
WebOS on the Palm Pre and and Pixie is a great OS, but hardware and marketing held it back. Hopefully HP will do great things with WebOS 2.0.
And Android phones play music fine.. just can't sync to itunes.

That being said.... much like the M3 is an amazing car that I'd love to own, I couldn't find a phone that did as much of what I wanted it to do and as easily as the Iphone
.
