I have never met a white person before. Saw one once in the movie "Powder."

I think of my self as Irish American because I want to hold on to some of the heritage that my great grand parents brought over. (but if I leave this Country I am an American.)

My family does the same. I think for white people it is not enough to be Caucasion, we have to have something else to describe us. Whites from different parts of Europe have different traits.

Blue or Green Eyes (Irish)
Can grow a beard in 8th grade (probably Italian)
Red hair (Scotish or Irish, probably not Italian)
Bad Teeth (Probably Austin Powers)

 

NOTE: the above post was only my opinon, I do not want to imply that I know how all white people think.

Believe it or not Native Americans can't agree either. Some want to be called Indians, some Native Americans, some by the english name of the tribe, some by the Spanish name of the tribe, some by the French name, and some be the origianal Indian name. See I even used Native American and Indian, I guess you have to ask the tribe.
