I Believe the new "Prescott" P4 has PNI (SSE3) + 1mb level 2 Cache with revised Hyper Thread, smaller die process, and a new voltage requirement.

Can somebody explain to me why a game running at 200 FPS is better than one running at 100 FPS when my monitor only refreshes at 75 Hz? My notebook screen only refreshes at 60 Hz, so you would think anything much higher than the refresh rate would be unneccessary since the monitor can't display that much information. Is it worth anything more than bragging rights with your friends?

fps is really a benchmark thing..shows how capable of your pc is...the higher the better
