I never gave it a second thought till I read your post. Whether he is gay or not, he looks harmless, and is a good reporter.

They ripped me off once too.

Charged me for new coolant flush... new coolant is supposed to be orangish... got home checked... what do you know still green. Went back and they still insisted that they had changed the fluid . After knocking some sense into them, they decided that they would change the fluid "again" .
Just so you know, there is a green coolant, I know because I work at a shop. Not all new coolant has to be orange.

lol, since when is new coolant always orange? Look on the shelves in most auto parts stores and u'll see a lot are green as well.

BTW, this vid is extremely old lol. I'm not surprised at all by it and this is exactly why i never take it to shops like this. if i ever take it anywhere, i will stand by the garage bay and stare them down and watch every move they make.

what I don't get is why ANYONE uses those type of shops. Dealer oil changes don't cost any more or take any longer. And if there is a problem, you have actual mechanics on hand. I'm less concerned wih being ripped of, and more concerned with damage to my vehicle through lack of training. None of the people at a Jiffy Lube and the like are "professionals" in the normal sense of the word, and the extent of training is limited to "show the FNG how we change oil around here."
