Default Positive dealer service experience!

I know, most of what we hear about is the horror stories, but I just had to pay tribute to an excellent dealer service department.

If anyone lives in NJ and has had problems with their dealer's service dept., go to Madison Honda in Madison (Morris County) New Jersey.

I only just had my first oil change at 3500 miles, but I watched the technician work on my car from start to finish, and he did everything correctly, from closing the hood properly to putting in the proper amount of oil (OK so there isn't much else to do wrong...).

So Kudos to Madison Honda, and the oil change was only $21 because I booked it through their website, fantastic!

Believe it or not, some people still take pride in the job they do.

That's good to hear! I bought my car at Madison too. Is 3,500 too early to remove the break-in oil? I thought we were supposed to change it at 5 or 6,000.

I wonder why this is in the Off-Topic Forum?

Madison Honda said 3750 for break-in oil change, FYI. My original oil was dirty enough that I'm glad I had it done at 3500.

djohnston: Just Curious, what type of oil did they use for the first oil change? Was it a Honda brand supplied by Mobile 1 or something else?

I bought my car at Madison Honda, and I guess I will bring it back for service there. I am a bit sceptical since they once left the spring spacers on one sold last year. The maual says 3750 for hard driving.
