Default kazaa lite?

I've been using kazaa lite for a while now and now it doesn't connect anymore and its telling me my version is too old. So are there more recent versions of kazaa lite? or do I have to use the full version of Kazaa and be subject to all the spyware and ads and all that?

get the K++ version of kazaa lite, it has all the good stuff and none of that spyware crap.

also, pick up spybot to rid your PC of spyware.

and I visited one of the Kazaa download sites and the first thing it tried to do was exploit a weakness in IE 6.0 and downloaded a "trojan" to install spyware.

I mean, what's the point of distributing a spyware-free version when the website itself tries this crap?

KaZaA has been pissin' me off as of late, there are a lot of songs you can't download unless you do their update crap, and they squeal many songs as well, you spend however long downloading the song and when you play it back it squeals like a pig. Time to get another Sharic system.

"free downloads" <---- if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I guess we should just go legit.

What ever happened to going to the store and buying a CD? I have downloaded from Kazaa. The funny thing is that the stuff that I do download, I eventually go out and buy. To me, it is just not worth the time to try to download too much when there is such a risk of viruses and a good number of the files out there are of such poor quality. Also, there are always songs that I discover on a CD after I buy it that I like even better that what I was downloading.

I never jumped on the kazaa band-wagon, I've used LimeWire since day one. Though I'm not sure if limewire is doing the same thing as kazaa, as far as all the spyware goes. Maybe try and give it a shot.
