The Kennel also charges $7 per 15 minute play session.

Take it to the casino if they have a kennel. Especially if you can visit the dog anytime you want.

Our Labrador and an embolism this spring and both rear legs were paralyzed for some time, right before we left for a three week vacation out of the country. In the past we have used a pet sitter, unfortunately our regular had closed up shop (we have since found an even better guy) Failing the sitter we leave the dog with our neighbors, but this time they were coming with us -- so we asked the vet which kennel she would recommend, thinking hey if anyone knows

I'm really not sure if I'd want someone in my house I don't know.

Even if my pooch was locked up for 21 hours, that's a considerable difference between that and 3 weeks.

We had a neighborhood 10 yearold girl come by, but thought since this was an overnight, he wouldn't be stuck in his crate from 3pm to 12pm the next day, with only 3 times to get out.

I figure if he's in the kennel, he'll at least be able to strech his legs and have toys to play with.

I'm still uneasy about this, but I guess you have to give it a shot, somewhat of a same thing about letting your kids take the car out for the first time by themselves :/
