It shouldn't be too difficult to find carpet that matches the drapes.

They make flat panel "pole" mounts. Run the pole from the floor to the ceiling, cut a few holes in said pole to run your cables and mount the TV to the pole using a pole mount.

If you can not go to the ceiling you could connect the top of the pole to your brick wall.

So far you can opt for a giant ugly silver pole spanning your wall, having to explain to everyone that comes into your apt why you have curtains hanging around a TV when there's no windows, or you can just color match some generic raceway. Seems like a no brainer to me heh

Yeah - but if he properly places the pole and can easily slide the TV up, he has dual purpose tripper pole for the ladies. He said "sexy" and you can't get much sexier with a TV mount than a stripper pole.
WTF is a tripper pole?

Hey guys,

I am moving to a new place, and unfortunately, the wall I plan on mounting my Samsung LED TV is double brick, so hiding wires in the wall is out of the question. I have searched high and low for some nice cable raceways, but all I can find is the generic boxy plastic crap, or some decent stuff that costs $400,000. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas/sources on a nice way to externally hide some wiring? Any help is appreciated.
What is on the opposite side of that wall?

I thought about that, but unfortunately it's outside the apartment, into the stairway for the other apartments.

I live an apartment as well, I'm not going to mount my 40inch samsung on the wall. Loose flexibility in room layout and changing it down the road. Got mine on a cheap entertainment center til I upgrade to a nice looking piece of furniture. If you really want to hide it totally then it might be hard but if you can live with some wraps and organizing it, this place has some decent looking braided stuff and wraps

Have you thought about running the wires horizontally?
