Manual Isit easy or is it hard?
You'll be able to drive it off the lot, no problems. Chances are good there will be some stalling and grinding. Also, I expect you to fear hills. In fact your shifting will cause your car to feel like you're riding a horse. Again driving home will not be a problem, but it'll take some time for you to perfect the technique.
S2R. Yes. Stalls, grinds etc, bad shifts still happen to me. Though stalls are very rare. That's my point. My Prelude has faced some horrible driving in the past and when I get the S I am hopeful that I won't do much damage because of bad driving.
Oh and I managed to drive home without stalling. But it was a short distance from home. If you don't have to start your car from full stops that much you should be fine. I think the S2000 is harder to stall than regular cars because the throws are so short.

My older brother took me out in his manual car and taught me to drive it. He told me "Don't f**k up my clutch or I'll kill you". During the 20 minute lesson, I stalled once. He gave me the biggest dead arm(expression for punching me in the arm really hard) and trust me, I never stalled again. I've been driving a manual for 10 years now. it's the only way to drive. So much control.

..... and yes, the owner's name really is Manuel.
Don't worry a couple of laps around the neighbor hood and you'll have enough time logged to make it from A to B. In three months time you'll be banging gears, driking coffee, talking on the phone and swinging a left turn all at the same time.
Every car I've own has been stick. I love rowing my own. It's the only way that you have 100% control over the machine.
Go for it and good luck!

I stabbed myself in the hand (a LONG STORY) a couple weeks ago so I couldn't shift with the hand I normally do. So I had to switch it up with my otherhand to shift the gears. It was a rather amusing sight with my arms steering and shifting in a crisscrossed position. If i can do it with my offhand, you can surely learn to drive manual rather quickly. Keep in mind my first post though.
OK manual. First you open the book. Then start reading. Flip the pages when you finish. Or just look at the pictures. Sorry I couldn't resist the pun.
You must have a friend or family member with a manual tranny vehicle. Go to an empty parking lot and get some good practice time. Then when your confident, practice in traffic. Then move to some hills. You need to learn how to take off on an uphill slope off a red light. The rest will come with time, good advice and practice. Before you know it you'll be heel toeing and reving to red.
