Interesting. I just bought a house and the value they gave it was only $4k more than what I paid. I also checked my girlfriend's and parents house and their estimate is pretty close, a little on the high side for both.

 

Hmm, just checked my grandmother's old house and it's way off. She sold it about a year ago for $550k.
