If it helps...Smoke it!

Mike, are you addicted to drugs man??
1 spliff = 8 cigs.
Use a vaporizer. Whatever that is. <wink>
Hehehehehheeh *cough* *cough* *hack* *cough*....
If a kid was to ask me about smoking pot I would advise staying away from all drugs would be best. Having said that I feel that our pot laws are so far out of whack it is beyond embarrassing. You can buy cigs and alcohol but you can go to jail for pot?! It's not cocaine or meth, it's time we de-criminalize it and stop wasting our money fighting it. As far as the argument that it leads to other drugs? People who use harder drugs would go there regardless of any experience with pot and many never try harder drugs after using pot. It is a less destructive drug than cigarettes or alcohol.
First off, anyone in here who is criticising smoking pot and has never done it, should not knock anything anyone who HAS smoked says in here. With experience comes education. Just like I put in the "Pot Commercials" thread, it gets me upset when I see those ads. The situations in those commercials are crap. They just don't happen regularly eough to be 100% effective to show as negative reinforcement. If a person wants to smoke, I say go for it. If medically, it makes him feel less sick, or sleep better, more power to them.
If they are smoking for recreational purposes, same thing. Like someone said above, you only live once. And by passing a blunt around between friends and just eating munchies in a living room, I highly doubt anyone in the room will die from anything having to do with the weed.
And for the people in the first few posts of this thread, you can get weed anywhere. ANYWHERE. I have never even heard of a legalized pot crop in Ohio. I stongly doubt many people have seen that weed, but it is rather simple to get some if u are serious about smoking it.
So to finish this off, Charlie, tell your friend I hope he can fight whatever he has, however he has to.

Anyway, Jay Li, alcohol is far more unhealthy to abuse, and impairs driving ability far more.
To say that all drugs and alcohol should be illegal is conservative to the point of hilarity and I really hope not many others in this country share that opinion.
