I wouldn't risk it. At most smoke maybe once a month on a Friday, just before holiday breaks, or beginning of a vacation. This way you work in a as many "off" days as possible between the time you smoke and get tested. Find out how long (according to your metabolism) you might test positive after smoking once based on the kind of test your company uses.

I don't know if its true but I've some people can pass after just a few days, other need a few weeks after smoking just once.

what is your basis? Im in highschool, im a senior...when I was a freshman i knew only a few people who did drugs. Everyone I know who currently uses any type of illegal drug started with weed and before they did weed they said that other drugs were bad...when they relized that they were lied to about weed making people go crazy, get lazy, loose all function they then decided to try other stuff.


once you commit a crime and get away with it, your more likely to do it and other crimes again.

hoonda backed up my claims and hes in about the same situation as I am (except a junior in HS IIRC).

I am reaching out to people who own their own business, do well in college, are executives, have meaningful relationships, etc.

Not quite, you are mispresenting the facts. The normal urine duration is < 72 hours. Chronic smokers may maintain an elevated level for up to 3 months in their urine.

For what it's worth I passed a urine test after smoking pot the night before -- it had been a year or so since I had smoked it previously.

 

My post wasnt directed at the question nor was your response calling mine "shit".

My post discussed what the thread had turned into, which was a discussion of the gateway theory.

Well, I would guess that very few people have gotten high before they've gotten drunk.

There is a dominant progression though the ranks of drugs but It might have more to do with social stigma, legality, and availability than one drug being the primary culprit.

IMO the reason its STILL illegal is cause of the alcohol and paper industries...The big alochol companies think people will drink less booze if marijuana were to be legalized and the paper companys fear HEMP will cause us to stop killing so many trees for paper...If this interests you, you should really check out the movie, "Reefer Madness" it shows you why they made marijuana illegal from the very beginning...they wanted people to believe that it made you uncontrollable and very violent....lol kinda seems like they were describing alcohol if you ask me...
