I save marinating meat for those cuts can use the help, otherwise with good cuts I just cook them and use a little pepper when I eat them.

Marinating beef strips/cube (stir fry) - sliced garlic, chopped up green onion, strips of ginger, soy sauce, black pepper and a little of sesame oil

Marinating chicken breast (grilled) - italian dressing

what's a marinade?

for a steak-quality meat, cool to room temperature, rub with coarse salt and pepper, grill broil or roast

for tougher beef, rub with salt, pepper, garlic, your thyme/herbs and shit, and slow roast or smoke

for lean chicken/pork/etc, brine for a few hours. brine = pool of water and salt

keep the A1/worchestershire at the Dennys....

YES! I totally forgot Italian dressing! It's great to use with chicken.
