Anyone been seeing the "ShamWOW" ads lately?

They've got the guy wearing a madonna/whitney houston headset microphone, standing at a booth demonstrating the shammy. The dude bothers me. Then they have "real people" saying "ShamWOW!" like they actually feel SO passionate about a damn towel.

"I'm a filthy old lady. I use it to clean up after sex and it actually captures the moisture between the sheets. No more wet back after we get it on! Thanks ShamWOW!" I would find that a more believable account from these old bags.

 

Why? What did I ever do to you?

I hate the Volkswagen horn commercial. It annoys the heck out of me.

I'm in advertising and obviously it's working

 

marketing that sticks in your head but forces you to never buy the product because you hate the campaign = does not work

I have not, nor will I ever, buy any "X-on" product.

 

Toyotathon and related hyperactive customers inthe showroom ads.
All Raymour & Flannigan ads. (The current sale ends as the next one begins.) Back in the day, the FCC or FTC used to say if it's aklways on sale it;s not a sale but a regular proce.
Any ad that uses "patriotism" to try to get me to buy something.
Just saw a ful page Harley ad in USA today basically saying there's nothing to fear, fear is un-American. Buit it sure looks lije the rider is wearing a WW II German helmet.
