WTF does GM have in common with MS? Microsoft has more money then they know what to do with, hell they actually GAVE profits away to stockholders because they couldn't find something to spend it on.

You said they win by default when they gain market share. I don't think that's the final factor.

Yeah so instead of getting more for your money with an XBOX you'd rather spend $1000 for an old Atari. If Sony wants to play in this market they have to step up. They could've beat microsoft to the market with PS3 but they didn't have the strength to do so. There fault not MS.

WTF $1,000 Atari? That's quite a theory you have there.

Really if sony is basically a second rate intellivision once MS takes 70% or so of the relative market to these two companies then MS can charge more and will make more money off of the games, in the end they will make some serious lout and be able to launch more living room computer based MS created products. This is the path to world domination!

The Nintendo DS is actually posting strong sales compared to the PSP due to some innovative new games that play even if you turn them off.

Nintendogs is a big hit - http://www.nintendogs.com/

Remember though that MS isn't a harware company, its a software company. Other than the Xbox, MS puts out zero hardware other than badging some decent mice and a crappy trackball.
