I was feeling very down about cars for the last month, 2 friend having died in a Caterham 7
Mine 7 in pieces, the S2000 race car still not ready. So I set off to a small place in England called Hinkley and into the world of Ultima.
They happen to have a new car called the Can AM - pictures at end and I was looking at it to replace my Caterham.
My impressions- look for you self - this is the very car I was in



Now I have raced cars in England for nearly a decade, driven some of the most exotic cars ever made Porsche 911, Ferrari 355, Lancia Intergrale, Caterham 7 JPE, nothing compares with what I was presented with.
This car is so ..... quick Ted Marlow MD of Ultima actually had me scared because of the speed this car carried into the corners on the open (well actually small country road 16 ft wide) road.
In just short straights of a couple of hundred yards we were doing 140 +
It was simple the ride of my life, and then a spotted the police on the side of the road and yelled to Ted, he hitted the braked and the pressure from the racing belts on my chest hurt.
But we just smiled and went on our way

Anyway we got back to the factory and Ted said "do you want to drive" , I am not sure if I will ever be able to stop smiling again. This was simply on another planet in performance.

Stats 0-60 3 sec 0-100 7 sec ( both off my watch )

Anyway I want one now !! This is addictive
