I agree not to give him what he wanted. But it would be much cheaper to sentence him to death and he deserves to die after his part in the attack. That fine if he is a "matryr", but he is surely not going to paradise. He will burn in hell like the rest of those azz backwards Islamic ali baba's who think that killing people and suicide bombing earns you a ticket to heaven/paradise.

 

The argument that it is cheaper to keep them in prison for life than kill them would be true, if it were not made up. Sure it is cheaper to keep them in prison than have them file a zillion appeals and take up all kinds of court time. BUt that assumes they don't file any appeals if they get life, which is also untrue. The courts are full of appeals from guys who have been given life sentences or less.

I don't know if I am ok with this life in prison in solitary UNLESS they pump in Brittany Spears 24/7. Really loud.

 

His life imprisonment will spawn a hostage situation. In the very near future, some group will capture a bunch of Americans or Israelis and they will demand Moussaoui's release for exchange.

Only in america can you kill 3000 people, and live in a climate controlled environment, with tv, a gym, library, 3 meals a day, etc.

I agree. However, liberal weenies are a part of life in America. Regardless, he is in a federal prison, which is much nicer than a state prison. He will NOT be in really not be in alot of danger in prison and, unfortunately, will not be subject to prison ass rapes like tweener on prison break. Federal prison is like a vacation compared to state prison.

But I think were assuming that he would have gone STRAIGHT to the death chair, and not go through all the appeals. If they had delivered that as his original sentence then that's it. I don't think he wants to appeal something like that, considering even at his own trial he REFUSED to enter ANY plea, guilty nor innocent. Letting him sit in a room will make him feel better about himself, hes going to get to read a book and he will just judge his soul as some "great" thing. No matter what he says about paradise, it's not true, he's just trying to ready his mind because he can't handle it. But strap a fanatic like this guy down to a chair, and he's gonna scream.


And about the hostage situation, no way. Al Qaeda doesnt even like this guy, they say he was a rogue and was just an off shoot of the main terrorists. They just think hes a wacko, and the wouldnt dare reveal their whereabouts to start a hostage situation for the release of this guy.
