Default Muscle Tics?

I'm curious to know if anybody on the forums has an almost constant muscle spasm or tic? In the past 2-3 months I've noticed that I have begun to have an erratic semi constant tic. It started with me biting the left side of my bottom lip then moved to the left side of my nostril and now has kind of moved to my right lower eyelid. I went to the doctor last week and he said it was probably stress but I'm beginning to think that it's something more. I've also noticed that I tend to forget stuff kinda like short term memory loss but not really that bad (no I don't smoke dope or do any drugs). I'm only 37 and am just curious if anyone else is having the same stuff?

Are you exercising regularly? Hows your health? Anything different you've been doing lately for those past couple months?

My eyelids twitch once in a while and my ears as well, probably because I wear glasses and my eyes get tired.

Well I'm on blood pressure medicine and 2 types of cholesterol medicine. I don't really exercise and I only get about 5 hours of sleep a night. LOL damn I'm painting a picture like I got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. I'm not really that bad, though I am a typical out of shape american. I haven't really changed anything that I can think of in the past 4-5 months.

First and foremost EXERCISE!, and eat healthier. You will feel a world of a difference once you start doing that. Your just experiencing muscle fatigue, due to lack of good sleep, experience by many people like myself. Get at least 8 hrs of sleep, and starting exercising, end of story.

I'd guess it has to do with your lack of sleep. I get one when I'm over tired or over stressed. It could also possibly be low calcium, but that would be low on the list. Another thing is maybe you are over caffinated?
