First, buy a Macintosh

Second, try to get it "cooler", as in lowering the temperature. I have had two "bad" burners that would work if I stuck them in an enclosure that had two small (but powerful) fans.

Also, make sure "Buffer Overrun" (sometimes called buffer underrun) is turned on, if available. You can also try burning at a slower speed.
