weren't you the guy who was trying to sue some doctor?
damn dude!!!
Yep, that doctor made my girl seriously sick and he knew it was his fault, apologized and settled. I had all the evidence from the hospital and doctors supporting my case, so if we went to court, he would've lost big time. Instead, I let him off the hook with a small compensation. All of my friends and family said I should've sued the bastard for big money instead of settling for a small compensation. He should be thankful for that. He now should have learned a lesson to treat patients more carefully. If you're careless, you pay; sometimes much more than he did.

You sound like a typical D-bag with yellow fever.
What?!! D-bag with yellow fever?

Shut up, you moron! Have you any idea what you're talking about? You're a douche bag with stupidity!

This douche bag thinks I'm a white guy with yellow fever, and my kids are half-Asian.

You are overreacting. This is so about you and not about your daughter. Kids get sick. That's fine. It's not like the teacher was letting her play in dirty toilets.

You know, there is growing medical literature that the coddling Western sterility that we "enjoy" is actually unbalancing our immune systems. We no longer have the "challenges" of immunity that strengthens and broadens our repertoire. So we develop asthma and autoimmune diseases as a result of primed immune systems with no pathogens to fight.

So you might want to thank that 25 yo Western teacher, she just might have prevented your kid from getting a real illness later. You're going to sue about sniffles? Maybe you need to donate more money to East Asian refugees... you know they play outside in the rain, don't you?

And I'll gladly contribute $20 back to your income if you'll get her a haircut that doesn't involve your bathroom, a pair of scissors, and a large bowl.
Talked to the teacher and school today. They assured me it won't happen again. If it does, they'll have to answer in the court of law. I'm not paying $300/month for them to throw my child in the cold rain and wind to get sick. And yes, playing in the cold drizzle and wind will get children (and many adults too) sick.

As for the hair cut, if you feel a 5 yr-old kid needs a professional hair cut, you're . My wife cuts her hair and it looks fine. Either way, she looks cute enough. No need for a professional hair cut for a 5 yr-old. But I'll gladly take your $20 if you're feeling generous. PM me for my Paypal account.

I think you need to chill for a bit.

Your contradictions are disturbing. You say you're a good, compassionate person, and no doubt giving to charity and helping relief funds is great. However, as soon as a person does something against you, you raise the lawsuit issue up?

You want to challenge your little girl's mind, but god forbid challenging her immune system.

Getting sick and teaching your child what to look for when she is sick and how to take care of herself is part of growing up. You're right in saying that children and adults get sick from wind and drizzle, but how many times have you skipped work because it was drizzling? When I was a kid all my friends and I would play until it snowed, and then we'd play in the snow as well, for hours and hours. I can't quite remember the name of the game....

Wait..

We called it growing up!

Yes, getting sick is a natural part of human being. That part, I understand. However, getting sick from UNNECESSARY playing in the cold drizzle and wind is not anything any parent needs. If I can prevent unnecessary sickness for myself or children, I will. For example, I wouldn't play in the wind and rain knowing I would most likely catch a cold or flu. Why torture yourself with such unnecessary sickness? Playing in the snow is MUCH less likely to catch a sickness than wind and rain.

Again, I do NOT need the extra hassle and pain from an unnecessary and preventable sickness. Why don't you all have your children (or yourselves) go play in the cold wind and rain to get sick and see how fun it is? I'm not paying $300/mo for them to throw my child in such a condition to get sick. It's perfectly okay to go play outside when it's NOT rainy, windy and cold. I'm not asking too much!!!

By the way, I'm not arguing with any of you anymore on this matter. I do NOT need anymore pains and hassles from unnecessary and preventable sickness.

As long as she has a good diet (like milk/juice for breakfast, vitamins, and all, which I'm sure you keep up with), and a good jacket, maybe some gloves or a hat, she will not get sick! You are like one of those annoying parents that got rid of dodgeball...

I played golf in the wind, rain, AND snow. Never got sick from it, BTW.

Oh well, you're going to do and believe what you want to believe.

"More harm was done in the name of good intentions...."

I've seen dozens of parents and kids in this situation. I know how it turns out, anyway.
