Do you have the filters on all your phone lines?

also, are you using wireless connections in your house? my wireless phone uses the same frequency as my 802.11B+G wireless router, so when I talk on the phone while surfing, sometimes my connection fails.

your filters may be installed backwards, rendering them non-functional. Check to see every phone line has one installed properly; except for the modem line, of course.

do the filters have to be on every phone line, or just the ones with a phone plugged in??

Just the ones with phones.

BTW, I had a problem with my DSL where it would go down whenever my cordless phone was plugged in, even with the filters. It didn't even have to be in use. I would unplug every device from your phone lines, then add them back one at a time and test to see if it is a specific phone causing the problem.

My wireless router was getting interference from the computer in the office next door. I had to hardwire.
