going off that link the item is as described = NSX motor

it does not say complete motor or long block or short block or anything else.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to find out all information they need/want to make the best decision they can. He jumped on it without vetting it and now has remorse becasue it was not everything he "expected".

he was promised nothing since the listing says nothing

Shoulda, coulda, woulda in this case. it sucks but he is pretty much stuck.

Lesson to all: find out what you want/need to before you buy anything.

If you found out that it did include everything but missed window of opportunity to get the engine at that reduced price, you would still be getting a good deal at 4500.00

No excuse for this kind of knee-jerk purchase IMHO (especially with such a high dollar item like that).

Im not sure why youre all that surprised this didnt work out in your favor. The description says "1994 Acura NSX Motor -60k miles". It doesnt say long/short block. It doesnt say complete. It doesnt say what it comes with. Then to add to your problems you use a debit card, giving you minimal to zero bank protection. I wish you the best of luck here but the phrase "buyer beware" certainly holds true. With an ebay description like that and a purchase this large, you should have been asking questions.

As for advice, there isnt much more you can do than file a complaint with ebay, paypal, or work it out with the seller.

Best of luck

I agree- the description is vague, which means:

You and He won't agree on what is/isn't included in a "1994 Acura NSX Motor -60k miles "

Personally, I think you're decision to not call and make sure you knew what you were getting before clicking the button because the price was going back up 10% is a mistake you are going to have to live with.

Good Luck with the seller, maybe he'll compromise on some stuff for you or taking it back with some small fees, but I see no reason he has to.

Twisted- the one feedback is a shipping dispute with a reply. And the person who submitted that feedback has more negative feedback with his account. I think its completely irrelevant in this case.

I don't think you have much of a case.

I guess you could claim you got an engine (gas) instead of the motor (electric) you actually paid for. just sayin'

It's a case of blowing your wad too early. I've done it before where I did a buy it now and didn't read the entire auction because time was running out.

I say it's your fault unfortunately.
