Anybody ever noticed how it's often the nicest people who commit suicide?

I lost two very close friends that way so while I certainly can't feel what you're feeling I do understand. There is no good reason for your friend to have died so don't beat yourself up trying to find one.

Think about the things that JRM and others here are saying. Grieve but be strong and learn from your feelings. My thoughts are with you and your friends family.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. My husband's best friend committed suicide on Nov. 3. He took his car off of hwy 1 at Big Sur. His wife just found out that she was pregnant that day. We were so angry that he left his wife and us. We know that he'll never really leave us in our hearts. Remember the great times you had together and lean on your family and friends. My thoughts are with you. I would like to say to everyone don't take your friends and family for granted. I would have never have guessed my friend was so depressed. my husband and I now tell our friends that we do love them and how much they mean to us. This tragedy made our group of friends grow closer. Everything happens for a reason, that

My sympathy goes out to you. Those government tests in Korea suck the living life out of Korea's brightest youth. That's my opinion. Obviously there were other factors involved in why he took his own life ... but the stress received from studying/taking the government test over there is literally hell and should not be overlooked. Apparently, many students end up taking their lives at that crucial stage in their lives when they put everything on the line for the test. It's a sad sad thing to see.

I hope the good memories you have of your friend will help mitigate the sorrow and pain you feel. My ex-gf tried to commit suicide awhile back, and I remember the pain I felt just trying to deal with that and the circumstances revolving around the whole situation.

Sorry to hear about your friend. My cousin committed suicided in Jan. of this year. It was a great loss to our whole family, and a was extremely painful for me as we were very close.

I know that I miss him, but when I try to think about him, instead of asking myself why he did it or what was going through his mind at that moment, I try to remember all the good moment we had.

Just try to remember all the good times you had with him. It doesn't help to wonder why he did it or be upset.
