Default My VHS Tape Doesn't Track Well - HELP!!!!!

I bought the Lakers championship video today (2000 season) on VHS, and lo and behold, I bring it home to find out that it doesn't "track" well on my VCR =(

I thought the tape was dirty, so I opened up the little flip plastic cover, and the tape looks perfectly clean. And my VCR is relatively brand new. I put in a bunch of other tapes, and they all work fine.

=(

How can I fix the tape?

I bought it in the bargain bin of a store (non-refundable).

What can I do?

nothing really you can do, once the tape is scratched, you cant really fix it, unless you take it somewhere that can fix it with a cost.

Try playing it in a different vcr. Take it to your friends house to see if it works in his.

Have you tried adjusting the tracking. You can manually adjust the tracking on most vcrs, even the new ones.

Why don't you just buy a DVD player?
