Sorry but that is a joke, there is holdback for the dealers for advertiseing and the owner's pocket, but the sales force and management has no control over that. $1400 under invoice on an s2000, hahah, are these cars really worth that little? no way! this is not a ford focus. Have some pride in the car.

All I'm saying is be realistic people, if the car was not worth the money, none of us whould have them and they would just be another civic on the road! We all want great deals, but please, this is not the salvation army. I'm all for the information being shared, but consumer's drive the auto market, not the dealers.

just venting at work feel free to comment

just so you know, honda and toyota have about 2-3% holdback from invoice, bmw has NO holdback, porsche has a big holdback.

on the other hand, honda's markup between invoice and sticker is between 1.08% on a base Element and 1.11% on a pilot with dvd. obviously there is little to play with there. Before you kill me ask yourself how much markup there is on what ever you sell or make per deal in your business, then kill me

It is funny though, you never hear bmw, mercedes, lexus, porsche owners talking about holdback. makes you think.....
