Well I need to buy a new TV to accomodate my new place, but I'm totally lost on what type to get... I want to keep it under $1000 CAD, which usually is equivalent to the 27"-32" range depending on brand (unless you know a good no name brand). Thanks in advance

 

I got a 32" flat screen (NOT plasma) phillips that I like a lot. Don't remember the price, but I got it at Costco for a decent deal.

 

I got a JVC 10 years ago, still going good, it was a 27"

 

My Mitsubishi is going strong after 10 years. My wife has had a Sony since the start of college back in '84 and it still works fine.
