I've had this.

Couple that with walking the dog and not picking up after it - I was not a popular person.

Note where I live you can be reported for not picking up after your dog. And fined.

When did we go from horses and carts and massive turds on main street to having to pick up after our animals
I support fining people for not picking up after one's dog does its business. Think about how pissed off you get when you step in dog s**t.

Not really a hater story, but my next door neighbor pulled up next to me in traffic, right after I bought my S2K. He says "who did you sleep with to get a car like that?". I laughed and said "who didn't I sleep with?"

Really, all my neighbors are cool with the S2K. Of course, I live on a culdesac and don't really drive fast in the 'hood. One neighbor was dissappointed that I traded the '99 Mustang GT convertible, though.

Well my neighbors dont really hate me, they pretty much envy me since i have a buch of my friends bring there cars(supra, bikes, etc the works). I do show respect AT NIGHT but during the day im pretty loud but there all fine with it.

Plus if they hated me my car would be vandalized!

I want to reiterate that when I drive through my mom's neighborhood and set off the Explorer's alarm (every time) and have people look at me in disgust, it is not my fault. I have to drive up a steep hill and to get your car up the hill in 1st - well, you have to rev it high. I don't give a damn if they get upset, and I don't care that I set off alarms. They obviously have the alarm sensitivity too sensitive (I love going through car parking decks - I try to set off at least one car when in one to keep the streak going ) and I don't ever "flip them off" or say anything rude. I just say "I can't do anything about it"

i live in a 3 story apt building. we have reserved spots in the back and the front is free for all. during the winter my mom stated parking her car in front. so our reserved spot is empty for a few months. my neighbor upstairs started parking in our spot. af first we didnt mind it. but then it dragged on. months go by whith this guy parking in our spot. my mom gets a chance and parks back in our reserved spot. his punk ass goes and parks behind her! blocking her in. he does it every fukin time every freekin day!
i confront him.
me: "could you not park in our spot and stop parking behind my mom's car"

neighbor: yous (yes he said "yous") guy havent been parking there for a while and now you all of a sudden want it back? why you want it back all of a sudden?

me: doesnt matter, we pay for this spot in our rent and we want to park in it.

neighbor: but yous havent been parking here

things go back and forth like this many times after wards.

long story short, cops got involved, he has a camera pointing towards the lot from his window, i have my buddy's tow company on speed dial (he has special request from me to "have fun" with this car if he tows it), my monthly rent is accompanied by a pic of my central finger for the landlord.

You have strange neighbors. I used to have a young man living across the street who loved cars. He had a suped up mustang. He worked on it in the driveway; had lots of tools. His friends came over with their nice cars or ricer cars and worked too. At all times of day and night. They never got drunk outside and didn't speed in the neighborhood, though some of them had loud exhausts. It was like having my own private security firm. I felt so safe when I got off work at 1 in the morning and they were there. Nothing was ever stolen or vandalized. When I got my S, they all came over and admired it, then when I saw them while driving, they'd nod to another car person even though I am older than his mother.
Thats cool

My neighbors all just admire my car and joke with me about how I afforded it. I've never gotten any crap from them (though it may help that we own the duplex next door). However, because of a 3 block street a block away that has no stop signs (thus everyone, including myself, zips up and down it), the local fuzz likes to camp it there when the high school gets out of school now. I fell victim to one of them 2 weeks ago...
