Seriously, if you are losing a glock fight, that backup ain't gonna help you. The ankle is for when your faster, smarter opponent takes your "main" gun away and you pretend to drop something while he is distracted...
Revolvers are usually the most reliable. On the other hand I suggested to a lady that she buy a 38 spl. Revolver and she did. She handled a bunch of guns and settled on the Taurus Model 851. On the first trip to the range for her to use it we found it to have issues with the cylinder not rotating fully resulting in the gun not firing or the hammer sticking in the ready to fire position. On a couple of occasions the hammer dropped several seconds after releasing the trigger. Very dangerous! The gun was sent back to Taurus for repair and was returned after about two months. After the repair the gun would fire but still had timing issues. With me standing behind her while she fired the cylinder was off enough that the gun would fire every time the trigger was pulled but it was shaving lead and blowing it back in my face. That is not only unsafe but it really doesn
I have a couple options:
HK P7 in an "in the pants" holster

Glock 26 in an "in the pants" holster

Also have a Glock 17L, 20C, 22 - all a little big for concealed carry. Have an old KelTec 9mm that I rarely shoot - hurts my hand.
The P7 is by far my favorite.
