As a parent of a 3 and 4 year old I find this hilarious. And I'm not exactly sure on what "MAD" is attacking. They say they are against Nickelodeon, which is geared toward older kids (7+) and then reference Lazy Town, a show that appears on Nick Jr. and that channel is geared toward the younger kids. Nick Jr. has no real advertisements that promotes toys (although all of their shows have toy lines) so again i'm not sure where they are going with it. But all in all its up to the parents, and its time for the parents to take control of their kids. I know exactly what my children watch, I control how much they watch and when they watch it. And this sorta stuff isn't new. Every kid show that has come out through the year gets some form of guff. Perhaps the most famous, Sesame Street, has had tons from Snuffleupagus being imaginary to is Bert and Ernie gay.
