Althought it says "An enraged driver," does that mean the shooter was in the car, and moving? If so he might be able to scrap together a self defense argument, arguing that damage by eggs could have hindered visibility and thus hurt the driver.

 

Shot n the neck and throat sounds to me like close range, maybe they were face to face, a fight broke out, and someone had a gun.

 

I'm guessing the Benz was custom painted, the teen noticed it, got jealous and threw an egg at it.

Was the shooter Albert Belle by any chance? He tried to run over some trick or treaters with his car for egging his house once.

 

That's better than my accuracy on COD - 13% ish.

But yeah, just scaring the kid with the gun would've been good enough. Which you can still go to jail for I believe. Or just follow him home and get his parents to pay for the paint.
