My favorite, " My kid beat up your honor student"

 

A while back I saw a t-shirt on a woman which read "My son raped your honor student." I mean, what'd ya say to that? It made me cringe.

 

Damn......that would make most people cringe..... I'll bet the "lady" wearing it was a real genius....

As the first NC resident to post in this thread, may I say you are all correct. The outer banks stickers are pathetic. I'm ashamed that such a silly and pointless phenomenon has spread across the country from my home state. I have no clue why so many people want to advertise that they've either been to the outer banks or someday aspire to. Its just a string of big friggin sand bars. The most interesting thing about the islands is the natives that have lived there all their lives, which happen to be the people least likely to have an obx sticker on their car. Some of the islands are only accessible by ferry, so these natives have been extremely isolated for the past 400 years or so and speak with a strange English/southern accent. I can only imagine how embarrassed some of them are by these soccer moms from God knows where, riding around with an obx sticker on their Tahoe. But I'm sure they don't mind the revenue that's generated by the free advertising.
