The Official OLYMPIC thred!
The TV scheduling for the Olympics is a MESS.
I have 3 different times for the first USA Water polo game vs Croatia.
1. USA Water polo says it is LIVE on NBC at 6pm on Aug 15. Nope.
NBC Olympics says it is on at 12:30AM Aug 16 on NBC. (not EST, as it isn't on now)
2. NBC4 and TVGUIDE say it was on betweeen 11am-5pm Aug 15 on NBC, which it wasn't, that US Volleyball vs Italy is going on at 12:30am Aug 16.
3. But the problem is US vs Italy in Volleyball has already showed and I watched it.
none of them say if it is Eastern time or Pacific.
Guess we will have to wait and see : shrug:

I agree; the TV schedules are a big mess. I don't know when and what the hell is on TV 'til I see it.

But yeah, the Olympics is pretty fun; better than nothing to watch.

Anyone else out there lack self-control & patience? I check to see who won what sport each day around noon. By the time things are on TV that night, I already know the results.
(Yes, in case you couldn't guess, I was the kid who was always sneaking around, searching the house for Christmas presents before Christmas! I'll admit it, I have no patience whatsoever! But I'm ok w/ that!

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but I started an Olympics related thread several days ago. I am afraid that with the entry of professional athletes, the Olympics is no longer as exciting as it used to be and therefore there will be less interest in the games from now on.

It is a shame that they have to let professional sports people participate in what is has traditionally been amateur event. I am sure that this has a lot to do with the amount of doping that now goes on with the athletes.
