I think the question was more like...... why keep RE TAXING the same car over and over and over
see, they are not taxing the car, they are taxing the transaction.

If you can get away with it, which is easy to do if transaction is cash and you know the seller/ buyer, it's almost stupid not to do it. Unless you're a model citizen that always drives the speed limit, is always smiling even if his family just died, and will run to the tax services to pay tax on every single penny he finds lying on the street....
...and there's nothing wrong with that. I want as many people as possible to be like this

LOL...if you're going to offer advice, it's probably a good idea to do it without saying something like "I've done it and blah blah blah..."

Remember, posts on forums, emails, blogs, etc. are fair game as evidence for proof of a crime...anyone ever heard of TAX EVASION?

Please, do yourselves a favor and don't invite the federal/state government an opportunity to investigate you over a post like that.

Just looking out for my fellow S2k-peeps.

In reality, it's probably not worth it. It's a FEDERAL crime and if there is 1 thing the gov't knows how to do, it's to get $ and PUNISH those who don't give them $ when they are supposed to.

I have scammed them on every occasion I can, but it probably all adds up to a couple grand in all reality. Even if you buy a certain car and manage to fudge 5k, what is that, 350 dollars saved? For a federal crime?

It used to make my day to scam them out of any penny I could, taxing the same damn car infinite times is RIDICULOUS.
