I am about to buy a product from some guy in Spain. How can I go about verifying everything? I don't want to lose my money. Thanks.

Haha, I'm better off buying that product here then. The guy is offering to pay for shipping too. He wants me to wire money to him and I've heard about a few stories about people getting totally ripped off. I'm sure there's got to be a way.

If I use my credit card through a money wiring service, wouldn't I still lose my money if he never sends me the product?

I don't know about the wiring service but Credit Cards afford the ultimate protection to consumers as opposed to the merchant. (Changes are afoot to afford more protection to merchants now). I'd imagine you would still have protection but ask your CC company first. If they say you're covered then you can at least dispute the charge and you're won't be out of pocket if the goods don't arrive. I would definitely check first.
