Default Opening a topless bar?

I had thought of this as a business idea.

Do you think $100,000 is enough to get you started (assuming you lease a place)? I should have that much together in about 3 years. Maybe I could start it in a strip mall (no pun intended).

The nice thing is your employees pay to work there! Then you sell drinks like a normal bar, etc.

Now, there could be complications. First off, the community will be hostile, and a few squares would try to stop it. Second, do you think other topless bar owners will bury me in the ocean? Third, and related, how involved do you think the mafia would be in FL in this area. That's a definite risk.

Liquor lisences are usually not easy or cheap to get. That would be the first thing I find out about before going into this. Next, you will want to look at property cost. If you don't want to serve liquor/beer, things should be a lot easier.

why would you bother? Just spend your $100,000 paying hookers to come over to your house and do the same thing. Oh, and with the added benefit of some satisfaction at the end of the evening instead of some sort of "fingers with benefits" arrangement.

topless bars could be one of the hardest things to open. why you think you don't see them on every corner? you have local and city zones. neighborhood zones, mom and dad zones. no one wants you in their neighborhood so trying to open one up is already going to be a nightmare. Trying to convince your local board of superviors to agree to it is going to be hard, and expensive. Think about how many free lap dances you have to offer them as bribes..

I say take that 100k and fly to vegas and get the best hooker you can afford...

I am paraphrasing the dealer in "Vegas Vacation" but.......

"How about you just give me half the money you were going to bet, I'll kick you in the nuts and we'll call it a day?"

You would be a lot better off finding a club for sale, as opposed to starting fresh out of the box

$100,000 is not enough to open a topless bar in an area people actually want to go to.
