Outlook for me too. When I know the due date for a project, I put reminders in there for each phase to remind myself when I should be working on it.
I usually have up to seven projects going at any one time, and most of them have hard deadlines tied to Marketing initiatives, so being late is not an option.

all your files are saved, and even if your phone brakes you can go to tmobile.com to retrieve all your data on your phone. (no hassle at all, all contacts, emails, notes, files and call history is all there)
not to mention the user friendly and the full keyboad to help you out, also have Yahoo messanger, aim, msn, and personal Email that you can use as a tool to forward all your emails from your outlook or other emails(yahoo, msn, etc)Also unlimited text message local and international.
for 30$ a month it doesnt hurt your pocket. and the unlimted use of the internet(from work and all that applies when your in different situations) helps you out on all situations.
great coverage and 24/7 tech support

EXACTLY.
It seems with the tried and true paper/pencil, you're doing ALOT of writing to keep things up to date. Whereas when you use software it is more about cut/paste. I forgot to mention that I'm a lazy ass and HATE doing this stuff.
Keep the ideas coming. I've used a PDA before but after my Dell Axim conked out on me and left me stranded, I'm wary of using that again.

I buy legal pads in bulk, and I don't throw away the pages... just flip them over. I find this makes my work like soooooo much easier. If I don't allow myself to write stuff anywhere else, I never lose anything.
As far as paper goes as opposed to using a computer to make lists, you don't need to find a computer to update your list, you can do it on the fly, and if you have too much stuff to list on a piece of paper, you're swamped regardless - you need to delegate!
I'm not opposed to using a compyuter, but its not as fluid as paper.
Pico Pad - fits in a wallet. http://www.everydayinnovations.com/pages/p...cts_picopad.php
Me too - just flip the pages, take notes and date them, then file the whole pad when its full. Very effective even though I do have to transpose some info onto a new pad when I switch.

Seems like we have two camps. The Outlook crowd and paper/pen crowd. I'd like to use Outlook, only problem is my company uses Notes and it's a hassle using two PIMs. Anyone know how to get Outlook to play nice with a Notes server?
One thing I don't like about paper/pen is you've got to keep on looking at it to remind you of stuff. Whereas with a PC solution you have reminders, calendar entries etc.
Damn I wish this was easier.

Outlook and paper can't compete with Mindjet Mind Manager.

Not only does it help you keep track, it helps you track your dependancies and thus prioritizes everything.

I'll write lists and then sub-lists. For instance, on Monday morning I will write a list of "Work To-Do's" and "Personal To-Do's" for the entire week. Then I will write a separate to do list for just Monday, breaking everything down. When I say everything, I mean everything. I'll remind myself to buy gas, watch a certain TV show, etc. Everytime I review the list, it becomes more engrained in my head what I need to do and my mind begins sorting things out. I have always felt detached and dependent on computer organizers, such as Outlook, to remind me of things.

I wish they had perfected digital paper by now. I remember back a few years ago, Cross, the pen manufacturer created a digital notepad. The idea was great, unfortunately it didn't pan out. If they had worked on that over the years, I'd imagine it would be pretty good by now.Oh well.
