I use google calendar and google homepage. I find it's more flexible than outlook and can be accessed from any PC.

I use the google notepad to take notes and make a to-do list. I use the calendar for appointments and it sends me text messages 30 minutes before each appointment.

You could check out a book called "Getting Things Done" by David Allen. It suggests a thorough method of organizatizing tasks and information. It's got a bit of a cult following, and the method takes a little effort, but it works for a lot of people. I don't use his method exactly, but did adopt some of his ideas.

best way is to call them a day before and text them 3 hours before.

seem to work, just have to get on it.
