pet peeves
I can't stand "rediculous." That one makes me cringe for some reason.
I also find it annoying when people don't use the word "I."
Example:
Went to the dealership. Test-drove a S2000. Aaaaaaahhh!!

It's the punctuation for me, or lack thereof, especially the '.
It is quite evident that many of our posters either weren't paying attention in the third grade or didn't make it past the third grade.
I've decided that most of our posters don't know the difference between plural, possessive, or contractions. That difference can change the whole meaning of what you are trying to say.
When the only avenue to the brain you have is the written word you need to be more careful about spelling and punctuation rather than less careful "cause it's only the internet"
Internet or not it is an attempt at communication and if you fail to get your point over the thread denigrates into a verbal fist fight which could have been avoided with a little effort on the person who spent the effort to post in the first place.

you mean like whenever you use quotation marks at the end of a sentence, but neglect to put a period?
you know, you have a plethora of grammatical mistakes in ALL of your posts. i started to highlight them all, but it was just too time consuming. moreover, using YOUR ideology, i think i'll just choose to view you as an idiot because of your innate attraction to run-on sentences and lack of punctuation.

grammatical structure doesn't bother me as much as long as i can understand the sentence and i understand what the poster is trying to say but it just surprises me to see words interchanged like to/too and your/you're. how 'bout that for a run on sentence. ha. i'm not judging anyone's intelligence and i understand if english is someone's second language but still it's just kind of sad to see people misspell simple words. US needs to pay teachers more!

Although, NOT internet related, one of my biggest pet peeves is seeing a convertible with the top down, front windows down, but the little triangle windows behind the front windows STILL UP. It looks SOOOOOO silly.

Tonight, I tried a new Mexican place (new to me), and they got some funky-ass lard in the beans. . . holy crap (literally?!?!?!)
Oh yeah, and Scot. . . don't worry about the Spanish posts; those will be misspelled too.
