yeah at the casinos when you play the higher limit games most people always chop the pot when it's heads up blinds.Well....atleast thats what i always do.

You would chop aces? especially at high limit?

My next question would be: do you goto the casino to make friends or to make money?

Chops are for outcomes only. I never chop unless the table plays and we have to.

Heads up blinds are were some of the bigger swings happen.

CHOP! 100%

Unless you can beat the highest kicker on the board (7), its a chop, doesn't matter if K7 paired 7's cuz its Aces up 7 Kicker. best of 5, both players have Aces up with 7 kicker

No brainer, its a chop. deceptive at first glance because they both paired thier kicker but the board always plays and they both share the 7 kicker on the board.

nice pot too

How many heads at the table?, any callers pre-flop?? was this a heads up hand from the start?? I am just trying to figure out how I would have played it if it were me with the 7 kicker.

With that flop, the guy with the 7 probably should have gone all in to kill the pot odds for the guy with the 4 (maybe he did). the guy with the 4 should not have seen the turn or the river with a 4 kicker on a pair of K's with an Ace on the flop. Even more risky with the second ace on the turn.

Just my .02
Primo, we had 9 peeps that night. After the flop, 7 of us backed out and then the 2 went at it. Yours truly got eliminated when we were at the final 4! Sounds like you're a pretty good player... hate to go up against you!

It's not worth it going heads up pre flop.you don't get as much as you put in...say compared to playing against 4 people.I've had my A's busted up playing heads up plenty of times...

No, I don't go to the casinos to make frineds....

But when i'm at the casino at a table of 9 or 10 players usually only 1 person doesn't chop..so....

I don't play tournament style poker...I play the structured games..

Peace

9 callers pre-flop!!!!! that is a lot of loose calling

was there any betting pre-flop, or did everyone just call the big blind?

I am assuming one of the guys with the K led out betting after the flop to get the other seven people to fold?

Sorry for trying to disect the hand so much but the scenario is interesting.

Can I come play next time?

<--not a pro but I have seen a hand or two
