I don't really do it. Some people at work in the neighboring stalls do. My wife also brings stories of how loud and obnoxious neighboring stalls are in women's restrooms.

shart = shit + fart.
Its when you think you have to fart so you let it go ( or push it out - which adds insult to injury) but it ends up being more than you expected.
A small shart is manageable and usually only necessitates a visit to the restroom. But a big shart is a bad day ( i.e. how the hell do I make it to the parking lot without anyone seeing the skidmark up the backside of my pants?!?)
Its when you think you have to fart so you let it go ( or push it out - which adds insult to injury) but it ends up being more than you expected.
