prelude shakes while accelerating in 2nd and 3rd gears...?
Hey - I have an 88 lude with 108k 5speed and when i accelerate in 2nd or 3rd gear around 2000-3500 rpms giving it some gas the car shakes pretty bad, and then it goes away after about 3500. Does anybody know what this could be? Thanx for any help.

Why do I have a feeling you posted a wrong question in a wrong board? You should try the Honda-Acura.net Prelude board or something, SuperHonda.org has the most 3rd generation Prelude it seems from your topic anyway.

My fist guess would be the CV's. Check the boots to see how they look, if they've never been changed it's about time. (CV's and Boots) If the end of one is slightly bent it can act almost like a tire out of balance.
