Default Pride in one's daily beater

I know most of us are pretty neurotic when it comes to taking care of our S2k's but how about those of us with daily beaters? I spent the last two days undercoating, touch up painting waxing and detailing my daily driver Toyota 4x4. She's not perfect but I still find myself taking some pride in making her shine. How about YOU?

I don't have a daily beater, but I do notice I take more pride in taking care of my girlfriend's car than she does.

I have had my daily beater airborn 14 times, on 2 wheels once, I took it baja-ing through the woods, snow drift bashing, drifting, knocked down a small tree with it and generally beat the hell out of it. I bought it to lose in my divorce and it only has to go another month until I order my STi and S2k, plus I have a 3rd gen Prelude that is getting a serious h22 w/turbo swap that is our other house in Tennessee so I am not very concerned about my current beater. Hell, I am surprised it hasn't died yet
