What kind of deals can be done for those that are going to go to a digital camera but still want hard copies! Like I can get film/printing for under 10 bucks for a 24-36 exposure roll. What kind of money are we looking at for printing digital pictures.

You can also get remarkably high quality reproduction from your color printer with the right paper. Some printer/paper combos offer really long life as well. Wish I could remember which ones but I'm sure someone with more expertise than I can help you.

I just sold all my medium format camera gear and processing equipment just so I could move to digital. I've printed to my HP on photo paper with very good results so I'm pretty excited about not having to sort through stacks of pics. I plan to keep the files on CDs. I'm looking at either the Nikon D1 or the Fuji S1 as my new high rez camera. Fingers are crossed.

By using my HP printer and HP premium glossy photo paper, I get very good reproduction. My sister has an Epson ink jet printer and gets qually good reproduction.
