Delphi - 4 years (former "Delphi Developer's Journal" editor)
C++ - 5 years (former editor, occasional speaker, and contributor to "Black Belt C++")
Java - 2 years (enough to be dangerous)
C - 6 years
C#/.NET - just touching it--not inhaling

Now I manage a team of programmers, and design/build COM/DCOM servers and integration products. It's been called "hearding cats," and that's about right.

C++/C, Fortran (don't ask) , SQL, Shell scripts (mostly Bourne but know some Korne/C Shell), PHP, and other pointless ones.

Working with Solaris (all the versions) testing patches and using Bourne shell scripts though.

SAS on OpenVMS... (I'm in the medical insurance biz).
I also use PHP to develop web based database apps with the data I crunch using above.
Sometimes revert to C++ or Java if there is something SAS can't do for me.

Sounds fun, huh? When I decided to become a programmer I envisioned applications development, not number crunching/data mining, but I love my job nonetheless.

Embedded stuff. I'm writing testing software (initial shake-out) for missile guidance hardware.

Also, I am doing my thesis at grad school. That's all I got left, academic work and core classes are all done.

VB/SQL/C/C++/ASM/PHP/ASP/COM+ here...

I knew Java very well once, but I've written it off as something useful to know at this point.
