Loki - So now that they are showing up here in the US with SMG, what's the deal with mode 6 (launch control)? Did it make it to our shores and does it have the 30 launch warranty limitation?

LC does in fact seem to be present!

However, instead of revving and dropping the clutch at 3500rpm, US LC does it at 1800rpm. Process to do so is exactly the same. One BMW tech mentions there is no provision in the software to monitor US version (like when they hook it up for diagnosing the engine)

However, the best part of S6 is not the LC but the 80ms shifts.

www.smarterliving.com. Very cool site. Register with your email and closest major airport, and they'll send weekly emails with hot airfare deals from ALL airlines serving your airport!

loki,

Sat. afternoon works for me. Hopefully, it won't be raining at that time. The weather forecast has some rain for late Fri. night and Sat.

What area in LA are you going to be staying in???

I'll be travelling all around, but that night I'll be staying in Placentia, CA (I have no idea where that is).

At some point during the day I'll be at evosport:

might be best to find me there...
