i'm not joking about that, I have used that tactic numerous times and it has always worked. Even when a chick was pissed at me, that always worked. Sending an email is impersonal so you don't have to explain yourself, this will also put the ball in her court and prime her up. If she doesn't email you or call you back, then she has no interest in you...drop her.
