I am so sorry to hear about your wife. I have heard about organizations that help family members free their loved ones from cults. Hopefully you can find such an organization.

Sorry to hear about this. Last year when I owned my RX7 there was a fellow member that was going through the same thing you are, only he lived in Tenn. I'm not sure how he his wife and their daughter are doing now. But best of luck.

I assume you mean, fellow S2KI member with the same situation?
I am very curious.
If I may...
Having my wife in such a divisive cult "drove" me to finally get my stook.
I supported her through school and eventaully Bible study. I'd leave on weekends for drives in my then truck. After paying off my own school loans, and re-arranging the family budget to eliminate junk, I figured the time was right for the S2000. I surmized that she has her hobby... why not me? I also felt that I was leaning on her too much - and expecting too much from our relationship. Ergo, the sports car.
One other point is that I firmly believe that this Remnant Fellowship will implode when the greed of the leadership is exposed.
I truly enjoy the stook. It is a wonderful piece of engineering that performs beyond its price tag. However, it cannot pave over the fact that RF has a hold on my girls. Period.
RF will implode and I have to wait for that - but it is not easy.
I totally enjoy my car, and my new hobby of HPDEs on the weekends, but RF has drawn a sword in my family that goes beyond simple interests.
If you can, please tell me more about the stook driver that had a wife in RF.

Thanks,
CB

Perhaps he was referring to a fellow rx7 collegue.
I dont think I should give advice since I am far from marriage, but wouldnt it make sense that you sit her down and basically tell her that its Me (you) or the RF?
What about if you tell her since you love her that you wil let her continue on this new "hobby" even though you do not agree with it at all, BUT the daughter is not allowed into this new hobby of hers.
This is coming from fairly young guy (22) with only a couple of serious relationship and the rest are, well, lets just say they were short lived
I hope this was helpful?
What does Merv say?
oh and when is the next HPDE?

We men think alike, no matter what age. We are troubleshooters - we try to reason and fix things. I have done all I can. I've talked and talked and made threats about divorce... But in the end, you can't mess with religion. Religion is the most difficult layer of one's mind to change. Period. My wife believes that she is doing the right thing.
Oh, believe me, I've thought about going through with a divorce, but I have a daughter in the middle. Not only would we be divorcing, but fighting for custody because the end goal is to prevent my daughter from being warped by these RF people. I'm not willing to tear my family apart over this bull-shit cult.
In the end, I concluded that it is best to let this cult implode - as I am certain it will.
Thank goodness I have the car and garage for my "man space".

My stook is driving SO nicely lately. The new tires have settled and don't slide as much and the engine is very happy. Great car!!!

Haven't seen any other reports of S2KI members knowing of RF, so I imagine that the cult still is very small. Then again, the RF cult deliberately targets women.

Mervin says, "more power!!!!"
First HPDE scheduled is September 24/25 at PIR.

you do whatever you feel like doing. just please be watchful. there have been cults in the past that have demanded obedience, and when the leaders finally had complete control, the followers were commanded to commit suicide. just be mindful and on your guard.

...that's my worst nightmare. So far, I have no reason to suspect any Jimmy Jones kool aid parties.
