Don't forget, it's a F-O-R-D! Not that there's anything wrong with that.

back in dec 99, i sat in on (paid) panel discussion of new car owners: 2 Z3 owners, 2 audi TT owners, and finally 2 S2000 owners. so to make a long story short, it was sponsored by jaguar, and they wanted our reactions to the concept F Type. essentially, jaguar wanted to know what attracted us to our respective cars, and what would it take for us to look at the new F Type.

specifically, the interviewer returned to me a couple of days later, stating they were directing more attention to the 25-35yo 'yuppy' group who purchased the S2000. so, it looks like jaguar definitely realized that honda did something right, and want to know 'how' they got there. they want a piece of the roadster action, and want to emulate the honda success. pretty interesting....
